The page documents all currently known ancestors of Alan Brian Crooks, born 1952 and Annie Margaret Sharkey, born 1960.

Generally the tree contains the following:
1. Direct ancestors of Annie & Alan;
2. Siblings of direct ancestors;
3. Spouses of siblings of direct ancestors;
4. Children of siblings of direct ancestors ("Cousins").
Occasionally the parents of spouses of siblings of direct ancestors and sometimes their other children are included, especially where there are familial linkages.
There are a small number of exceptions to these rules.
