Tucker, Railton, with Miss Beatrice (Trix) Tolson, daughter of the late Mr. W. V. Tolson and Mrs. Tolson, Laura street, Cataract Hill. 'The Rev. J. W. Bethune performed the ceremony, and Miss May Wright (Longford) presided at the organ, and played "How Welcome was the Call" as the bride entered the church, and after the ceremony the "Wedding March." The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Arthur Tolson. Her trained gown was of ivory pailette silk, bordered with silk applique, and having yoke of tucked chiffon. An embroidered tulle veil was worn over a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a lovely shower bouquet of water lilies, tuberoses, and asparagus ferns, tied with white silk ribbons. The Misses Linda Tucker (sister of bride groom) and Pearl Tolson (sister of bride) were bridesmaids, and wore gowns of white mousseline de soie with elaborate tucking, and Valenciennes lace; white chip hats with trimming of pale blue and pale pink. They carried bouquets of sweet peas, roses, and maiden-hair fern, with ribbon streamers, which, with jewelled brooches, were the gifts of the bridegroom. The Misses Marjory and Dorothy Tolson (nieces of bride) were train-bearers, and wore pretty white frocks and hats. The bride groom gave them blue enamel bangles. Mr. W. Tolson supported the bride groom as best man. After the ceremony Mrs. Tolson entertained the bridal party and relatives at luncheon. The decorations were of roses, sweet pea, and tuberoses and glasses, with pale blue and pink ribbon from the electrolier to the corners of the table. Mr. and Mrs. Tucker left for Brown's River by express. Mrs. Tucker travelled in a navy blue satin-faced cloth, coat and skirt, and Tuscan hat, trimmed with pink roses and brown ribbon velvet. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a travelling bag, and the bride groom gave the bride a gold pendant watch enamelled with blue.
